Apparently this website is going to be where I share all of Half Baked Harvest's amazing recipes and link to that website because it's way more useful:)
Last night we made pappardelle with roasted butternut squash and tomato ragu and it was ahh-mazing. I got home from a full day of school to find Bri cooking up the sausage in our creeky old kitchen, listening to "monster mash". He's amazing.
I lit our pine candle and turned on the heat because it's actually started to get really chilly. While the tomatoes and butternut squash were roasting away in the oven, I poured us a little bit of wine. We bundled up, tabled the wine, and headed out onto the quiet street for an almost-midnight walk, nothing but the click of Rue's paws and the breezy leaves making a noise.
It felt like we were celebrating on a Monday, and I guess we were, but the only thing we had to celebrate was that we were together and cooking and living a life we fought for for 7 years!! It feels so special because we are really setting intentions to live more centered and less screens.
