My pal and I have a big year ahead of us. I feel as if last year was all about a steady grind with tons of growth and this year has more happy transitions and huge events. Either way, we were able to see quite a bit of the universe last year and it's looking like even more so this year. A few things are still way up in the air so this is more of our penciled in schedule.
2018 TRAVEL SCHEDULE FOR BYD
OREGON: I'm actually leaving in just a few days to go visit my cousin. So far I'm excited to see her face, see Mt. Hood's face, and drink a but ton of coffee. I know some people feel passionate about the PNW for the beer and the Oregon wine but I actually don't really like beer that much and would always rather have a big, steamy cup of coffee.
COLORADO: this will hopefully be sometime in the spring. Just a long weekend to go visit my brother.
TETONS: This will hopefully be on the trip to Fort Collins to see Jase. I'm hoping I can convince everyone the 6 hour drive is worth it (which it 100 percent is).
WASHINGTON: Bri and I are planning on a 5 day trip out to hike around some parks and see the state. We're both really looking forward to this trip!
CALIFORNIA: My Ma really wants to see the Redwoods and I am itching to go to Mammoth to soak up some of that Olympic juju. I'm not sure if this one will happen but I really really hope it does. This is one of my "must go just to run" spots so I know I'll make it out there eventually.
IRELAND(?)/ NEW ZEALAND (?): We are trying to nail down the spot for our honeymoon!! New Zealand will be the big kahonas if we can make it happen. It will also be way way way more expensive than Ireland so we have a lot of research to do. The thing is, we are getting married at the end of October which would be the start of summer in New Zealand and the start of cold in Ireland. I feel like either would make us happy so I'm not too worried. I also keep throwing in anywhere with the Alps because that would be amazing too. I think we're going to have to set our actual budget before we can make any definite decision. It sure is fun thinking of everywhere we could go, though!
MARYLAND: like almost one hundred percent of the wedding is still left to be planned.
VERMONT: This would be before the wedding in September if it could happen for a long weekend.
BLUE RIDGE MTNS: We want to take a weekend out to do some running and relaxing together. Not sure if we would airbnb or just camp.
OUTERBANKS: the fam does this every year since we were born so it's definitely one of the most looked forward to weeks of the year.
